Filippo Valguarnera

I was born in 1977 in Göteborg (Sweden) and grew up in Italy. I earned my law degree in 2003 (summa cum laude) and defended my doctoral thesis in comparative law at the University of Florence in 2007. I subsequently worked as a visiting fellow at the University of Uppsala (Sweden) and at New York University. I have worked as associate professor at Örebro University, from 2009 to 2013, and at the University of Gothenburg, from 2013 to 2020. I am currently member of the Law Faculty at Stockholm University. 

My main field of studies are legal history and comparative law.
